Making Connections

All of the ministries/ programs at The Bridge are organized under the 5 purposes of the church as illustrated in our Bridge Vision: Missions, Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship and Ministry. Each member of our Leadership Team oversees the following teams/ programs and may be contacted for further information.

Missions- Jamie Kimmell (

Bridge Mission Day- Each quarter we organize a day of community service and outreach where we send teams of volunteers out to a variety of projects/organizations.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt- We host an egg hunt on the church grounds each year for children in our community

Vacation Bible School- Our church has VBS for kids (Preschool thru 6th grade) every June.

Trunk-or-Treat- Our church hosts an annual trunk-or-treat at the church for all ages each October

Monthly Outreach Events- We generally have regular opportunities for volunteers to go out into our community to serve in some way each month. Details are always published in the church bulletin

Worship- Matt Nussmeier (

Praise and Worship Team- This team leads all of our corporate worship services and is for those with gifting in the worship arts

Sunday Worship Services- We meet for corporate worship weekly on Sundays: 10am at the North Campus (820 W Mt. Pleasant Rd.) and 5pm at the Jacobsville Campus (Dream Center- 16 W Morgan Ave)

Tech Team- Have a skill in multimedia or sound tech and would like to serve the church during our Sunday worship services? Then this team is for you!

Coffee and a Smile- Each Sunday a team of volunteers provides coffee and pastries starting at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall.

Welcome to The Bridge Brunch- On the last Sunday of each month all recent guests to The Bridge are invited for a brunch at 9am in the Church Library. At this brunch guests can receive information about The Bridge, meet church leadership and find out how to be connected.

Fellowship Groups-
Ladies of The Bridge- The ladies (all ages) get together for fellowship at least once quarterly. Details are always posted in the church bulletin.

Men of The Bridge- The men (all ages)get together for fellowship at least once quarterly. Details are always posted in the church bulletin.

Bridge Mission Celebration- Once a quarter we host a church wide lunch for everyone immediately following the worship service. At this lunch we typically hear about our most recent Bridge Mission Day (see Missions) and other things God is up to at The Bridge.

Spring/ Fall Gatherings- We have two larger church-wide fellowships each year where everyone is invited to come for food, fun and friendship! Details are always published in the church bulletin.

Sports Teams- Our church participates in local adult Co-Ed Softball (June) and Co-Ed Volleyball (Sept) leagues each year. Details are always posted in the church bulletin.

Connect Groups- We offer a variety of small groups to be involved in. Please look for the “Connect Groups- Currently Meeting” sheet at the Welcome Center to find a group for you!

Personal Discipleship- We also offer further discipleship for those wishing to grow deeper in their faith with God by meeting with other like-minded individuals on a regular basis.

Next Level Leadership-
Quarterly Seminars- Our church hosts a variety of seminars on leadership topics that anyone is invited to attend. Details are always published in the church bulletin.

Basic Training for Leaders- Our church offers a 5-month foundational course on leadership that launches new cohorts every January and August.

Celebrate Recovery- Our church hosts a local recovery group for those struggling with hurts, habits and hangups. It meets every Tuesday night at the church at 6:30pm.

Athena’s Sisters- Our church hosts a local ministry to women military veterans that meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 6pm. Contact: Liz Nussmeier (
